Located in South West Florida, we are a small 5 acre ranch. Our horses are a part of our family and we handle all aspects of our equine endeavors. We currently stand two stallions and participate in several events with our horses. The main event being trail riding and enjoying our horses.
Our ranch name, Knight Hawk came from the Hawks that visit us daily. The Hawk photos through out this site are of the ones that call KHR home.
The name Knight came from a German Shepherd that I once had, Markos Knight Vom Gremlynn. He was a wonderful dog with tons of character and a sense of humor. We still have a grandson of his named Beau.
With all around performance in mind, we breed Arabians, AQHA, APHA and half Arabians. We believe that horses should be sound and sane riding/using horses. That is what we strive to produce.
About Amber:
I have been learning from horses since I was a young child, a typical horse crazy girl. As I grew older, I sought out horse professionals to learn as much as I could from them. I have worked behind the scenes at race tracks, in Hunter Jumper barns, Reigning barns and taken lessons in several different disciplines.
About David:
My husband, David, is my support and help around the farm. He does enjoy trail riding and has recently taken an interest in roping.
